Etela’at newspaper chief dies

TEHRAN — Seyyed Mahmoud Doaei, managing director of the Etela’at newspaper and former Iranian ambassador to Iraq, passed away late on Sunday at the age of 81 due to respiratory tract obstruction.

Doaei was Iran’s ambassador to Iraq from 1980 to 1981. He headed Etela’at for 42 years.
